Reed Source Log Homes is a family-owned and operated business that specializes in designing and building custom log homes and structures in Grand County, Colorado.
Founded by Chester James "Jimmy" Reed III and his wife, Joan, in 197 1, Reed Source grew at the pace of nature with the expansion of their family. Jed and Seth, two of the Reed's 5 sons [and one daughter], continue to build in Jimmy's skill and legacy 5 decades later. Organic collaboration with brother's James and Joel provides corresponding mastery in contracted homes and log works.

Our timbers and logs are locally-sourced in Colorado from beetle-killed pine and spruce. We understand logs, our environment in the high country, and building. Not one of our homes have ever had an issue with structural settling. We have never received a callback on a home we've built.
